Dear David, My name is Simon Nolet. I am the son of Marcel Nolet (born in 1950), who is writing this letter with me. My father's father is Jean-Baptiste Nolet, born in Mont-Joli Quebec in 1912. The father of Jean-Baptiste was Ernest Nolet, brother of Napoleon and Francois Nolet, all sons of Majorique Nolet. My father Marcel just retired and started to seriously research the genealogy of our family. It was a very good surprise to find that one of our little cousins had done a huge part of the genealogy and put it available on the net and we want to thank you. We just read the story you and Ann Marie wrote about Majorique and it was very touching. It was our first time reading about Majorique. In fact, we know very little about him. I wished my grandfather Jean-Baptiste could have heard that story. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2000 at the age of 87 years old. He would have been about 11 years old when Francois went to visit Ernest. With your permission, my father Marcel would really like to communicate with you via email to exchange some informations. We sometime have slightly different informations about some of our ancestors. My father Marcel is currently living in Drummondville, Quebec. Most of the descendants of Ernest are still living in Quebec. As for me, I am currently living in Cambridge, Massachusetts, completing my Ph.D. at MIT. I noticed a lot of Nolet living in Massachusetts, and I'm wondering if they could be descendants of Majorique and Delvina. We hope to be able to stay in touch with you and we send you our sincere salutations to you and all your family. Simon and Marcel Nolet
