Blanche
E. Kreklow, 88, Blanche E. Kreklow, age 88, of Hibbing, went to be with
her lord on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at the Guardian Angels Nursing Home
in Hibbing.
Blanche was born on Oct. 30, 1917 at
Winona to Joseph and Zoa (Burt) Chopp. She grew up and attended school
at North Hibbing and later graduated from Hibbing High School. At 19,
she was united in marriage to Walter Taylor in Hibbing. Following the
death of her first husband, Blanche was united in marriage to Wayne
Kreklow on Oct. 2, 1961 at the Village Church in Hibbing. The couple
moved to Goodland where she was a homemaker. She loved farming,
gardening, sewing and crocheting rugs.
Blanche has
a smile for everyone.
She was preceded in death by
her first husband Walter Taylor in 1955, an infant son, Darryl, and a
sister, Gweneth Willard.
She is survived by
husband, Wayne; one daughter, Diane (Rick Slaughter) Nolette of
Cohasset; one son, Walter (Debra) Taylor of Keewatin; five
grandchildren, Jeremiah (Cindy) Taylor, Karina (Jay) Robbins, Corey
(Carmen) Taylor, Heidi and Nathan Nolette; eight great-grandchildren,
Natasha, Laura, Breauna, Seth, Summer, Cory Jr., Haleigh and Zachary.
Services:
Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Hibbing
Christian Assembly Church, Hibbing. Funeral services will be Thursday,
Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Rod Tuomi will officiate.
Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery, Hibbing.
